My family have many links to Shettleston/Sandyhills and I was in touch a couple of years ago with your church officer who gave me the phone number for a lovely lady who remembered my Begbie family from Shettleston who attended the Methodist Church many years ago. I have a newspaper clipping dated 1994 regarding Elizabeth Begbie who was given her first ever birthday present and cake, at age 88, by the Rev Glendinning and the congregation.
